About International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day (IWD) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. As the United Nations informed us that the COVID pandemic is poised to widen the existing gender disparities, IWD marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality. This year, the theme is #ChooseToChallenge.
Marked each year on March 8th, IWD aims to:
- celebrate women’s achievements
- raise awareness about women’s equality
- lobby for accelerated gender parity
- fundraise for female-focused charities
About the event
CUBE Network, Wharf Sisters Network and Consortium invite you to an interactive panel discussion with inspirational muslim women in senior professional roles.
The panel will share their personal insights and advice on supporting career journeys, including:
• Career challenges for women
• Tactics to deal with challenges
