Onward Homes names contractor for major retrofit programme in Merseyside

Onward has appointed Novus Property Solutions to deliver energy efficiency improvements to a number of homes in Merseyside to make them warmer, quieter and more comfortable for customers. The contract will see Novus’ expert team carry out sustainable improvements to 400 homes in the Kirkdale and County & Warbreck area of Liverpool. This will include the installation of wall insulation systems and loft insulation, as well as window and door replacements, and underfloor insulation, in order to upgrade the properties to an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Band C rating. Novus delivers on their social value commitments

Novus has provided 12 slow cookers for the local Kirkdale Community Shop, who are running two 6-week programmes for the community to learn how to make healthy meals with low cost ingredients. The course is designed for individuals, and each week customers will learn different recipes from ingredients available from their shop. Please contact Community Shop to sign up for this course!

 

 

Getting support during the works.

Whilst work is being done on your home, a drop-in information centre will be in place at 75 Delamore St. Onward and Novus will be on hand to answer any questions you may have throughout the programme.

Several of your neighbours have agreed to stay in touch during the improvement work and let us know how things are going. We will arrange to meet up with them regularly during the programme to help us design any information we send to you and talk about the programme.

If you would like to help us by sharing your views while the work is being carried out, or share some feedback on Onward’s services more generally, we would love you to join our Customer Engagement Community. The Community is a list of customers who we contact regularly, providing them with chances to feedback and updating them on what has changed as a result of that feedback.
