How does it work?

By using the app, you can choose to either: 

• get a direct discount (paying £16 for a £20 voucher for example)  

• put your discount into a pot which will automatically go towards your rent payments/arrears (paying £20 for a voucher and putting £4 in your rent account for example)

To get a direct discount, please follow the steps below: 

1. Open the Housing Perks app on your mobile or tablet device 
2. Search for and select the brand you would like to get discount for   
3. Enter the amount you would like to spend and press pay securely   
4. Check the information to make sure you are happy  
5. Choose how you want to pay for the discount voucher and make the payment 
6. The discount voucher will then appear in your wallet on the app   
7. View the discount voucher and use it in store or online   

To put your discount into a pot towards your rent payments/arrears, please follow the steps below: 

1. After you’ve signed up to the Housing Perks app, tap the ‘Rent’ icon in the menu at the bottom of your screen. 
2. Then tap ‘Rent Contributions’ 
3. Make sure it is set to ‘On’ 
4. Once it is set to ‘On’, your savings will automatically be put towards your rent payments/arrears. This will happen every Friday.
