Hosted every six weeks, the forum aims to improve the quality of housing for LGBT+ tenants.
Onward is committed to celebrating diversity, supporting inclusion and promoting equality within the organisation and communities we serve.
As part of this commitment, we are pleased to work with the brilliant HouseProud – an organisation which aims to empower social housing providers to improve services for LGBT+ residents. We are determined to continue supporting HouseProud so that we can become more knowledgeable about LGBT+ issues and better serve our customer’s needs.
The HouseProud Rainbow Roofs LGBT+ Customer Forum brings together customers from housing associations across the North West, housing professionals, agencies, and local authority representatives.
The forum focuses on the following topics:

Calendar of events

Increasing the diversity of members

Celebrating local LGBT+ heroes

Supporting local LGBT+ business
After each meeting, a formal report is written so that participants can share learning and best practice with their housing association, colleagues and local authority.
