Are you a current Onward customer aged over 50, living alone, with a partner, or an adult child in the Hyndburn Borough Council area? If you are looking to downsize to a smaller home, whatever the reason, we’re here to help.
We’re working in partnership with Hyndburn Borough Council on an exciting new scheme called Right Size, which will help customers who are looking to move from a family house to a smaller home that meets their needs.
Our new development in Clayton-le-Moors, Lockside Walk, will be ready from March this year and could be the perfect fit. Located on the banks of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, a range of one and two-bedroom apartments are available for those aged 55 and over.
With a number of convenient amenities and fantastic transport links, Lockside Walk could be a great place to start your new chapter.
If you feel it’s time for a change and choose to move to Lockside Walk through the scheme, you’ll get access to support from your Neighbourhood Specialist and a payment of up to £2,000 to help with the cost of moving.
We can also support you through a mutual exchange, where you can swap your home with a customer from Onward or another registered provider.
