Get help with downsizing in Greater Manchester
Are you a current Onward customer aged over 50, living alone, with a partner, or an adult child in the Manchester City Council area? If you are looking to downsize to a smaller home, whatever the reason, we’re here to help you find the perfect fit.
We’re working with Manchester City Council on an exciting new scheme called Rightsizing, which supports customers who are looking to move from a family house to a smaller home that better meets their needs.
If you feel it’s time for a change and choose to move through the scheme, you’ll get access to:
- support from a dedicated Rightsizing Officer
- help to find a new home in the Manchester City Council area that meets your needs
- free assistance with the move
- a payment of £2,500 to help you settle in
