What is Hate Crime?
Hate crimes is defined as; any crimes that are targeted at a person because of hostility or prejudice towards that person’s:
- Disability
- Age
- Race or ethnicity
- Religion or beliefs
- Sexual orientation
- Gender identity.
How to report hate crime:
- In an emergency Hate Crime should be reported to the police on 999 immediately.
- You can report a hate crime at your local police station or on 101.
- Once you have contacted the police please contact us with the crime reference number given to you by the police.
